Toine van Peperstraten (of TV sports show Studio Sport) performed the opening ceremony. Subsequently, the 350 guests from companies/contacts could acquaint themselves with various sports, including wheelchair basketball, rollball for the blind, hand biking, et cetera.

It was enormously impressive to see with what passion, talent and perseverance young people with a disability can enjoy doing sports, push back frontiers and take up new challenges, thus setting an example for all of us.

Actor Peter Faber gave a very involved and positive presentation.

All in all, Hans Blauw organised a great event with the Fund Disability Sport (FGS) that offered a very good introduction to sports for the disabled.

Robert Kalkman gave demonstrations on the pitch and put course to show people that there are still many options available to you, even if you have a disability. This is true in the case of golf especially, because it is not a contact sport and you can set your own pace. At one hole, people could play for attractive prices in a nearest to the pin competition.
